Located 5 miles south of downtown Seattle, GEORGETOWN is Seattle’s oldest residential neighborhood. An independent city from 1904 – 1910, our neighborhood includes a strong and active residential core, a growing retail district, a thriving creative community and adjacent industrial businesses.
The Georgetown Community Council is a non-profit organization seeking to improve the quality of life for all who live, work and play in Georgetown.
Every second Sunday of July, since 1995, the Georgetown Garden Walk has brought tens of thousands of visitors to Georgetown – to explore our gardens, art studios, and connect with the unique historic quality of Seattle’s oldest neighborhood. The Georgetown Community Council is a proud supporter of the annual Georgetown Garden Walk.
