About the GCC
The Georgetown Community Council is open to all Georgetown residents. Show up for at least one meeting a year and you’re automatically a member.
Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at the Old Georgetown City Hall, 6202 13th Ave South, Seattle, WA. Meetings start at 7pm and typically last 90 minutes.
The Georgetown Community Council is governed by a Board of Directors. The board is elected annually at the November community meeting.
Board meetings, which are open to the public, are generally held on the first Monday of each month at Old Georgetown City Hall, 6202 13th Ave S. Meetings that fall on Federal holidays are automatically rescheduled for the week before.
Our bylaws were adopted in 2007.
